To obtain Argentinian Residence you need to invest one million five thousand pesos (ARS$ 1.500.000 this figure might change periodically) in a productive, commercial, or service investment of interest to the country. Should be done to the country, for a minimum of one million five hundred thousand pesos. Nowadays UDS 15.000 (Official Dollar).

Medical Treatment Visa is for people remaining in Argentina for medical treatment or supporting someone needing medical treatment.

When medical treatment is practiced on children, disabled or seriously ill people who need to remain accompanied by a person, the residence will be extended to the direct family member.

The applicant should present a certificate issued by a government or international organization that certifies that the person is receiving a retirement pension, on a regular and permanent basis, as well as the amount and duration of the benefit.

Scientist Visa is for any person who wishes to reside in the country to engage in scientific, technical, research or advisory activities, hired by public or private entities. Entities must be registered at the Immigration Office.

Athlete or Artist Visa is for any person who wishes to reside in the country to engage in sports or artistic activities, hired by public or private entities. Entities must be registered at the Immigration Office.

Obtain a temporary residence for those foreigners who wish to settle in the country, either as a religious minister, seminarian or religious personnel dedicated exclusively to activities carried out by officially recognized churches, congregations, confessions or communities, or request their admission in order to study religious or theological studies in Argentine. Religious institutions must be registered at the Immigration Office.

Refugees are people who have fled war, violence, conflict or persecution and have crossed an international border to find safety in another country.
Refugees are defined and protected in international law. The 1951 Refugee Convention is a key legal document and defines a refugee as:
“someone who is unable or unwilling to return to their country of origin owing to a well-founded fear of being persecuted for reasons of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group, or political opinion.”
